Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?

This may be possible, but it will depend on individual circumstances and at what stage your order has progressed to. In some cases, the order may need to be cancelled so that it can be placed again with the correct address. 

 

I received my order but there were items missing, or I received an incorrect item - what do I do? 

While I take great care to ensure orders are complete and correct, occasionally an error will occur that is not detected during the packing process. If this happens, please let me know by contacting me - I will be able to verify the contents of the order that was sent to you through visual records, and once confirmed, will provide the best options available to resolve the issue as soon as possible. 

 

Can I request smaller or larger quantities of items available in the store?

Bulk or sample quantities of items may be able to be provided by arrangement - please note that this can affect the unit price of the item. You can contact me at any time to discuss your options. 

 

Do you accept custom-made orders or requests?

Yes, I can custom make chain maille items (with the exception of clothing, large projects and scale maille projects). I can also source custom made stainless steel findings (with some limitations - please also note that custom-made findings can take several weeks to become available to purchase due to the design, prototype and approval, then manufacturing & delivery process). For more information, please contact me with as much detail as possible about the items you would like to have made, and I will work with you to determine a quote.

 

Do you make children's jewellery?

No, due to the use of a high number of small parts, chain maille jewellery is not suitable for children. 

 

What happens if I don't like an item I purchased, or it doesn't suit my needs?

If it meets the conditions of my return policy, you are welcome to return unwanted items for a refund of the price (less shipping costs). If some of the items have been used or aren't returned, a refund equivalent to value of the received and / or unused quantity will be provided. 

 

Do your prices include GST?

Yes, Maille Addiction is a GST registered business, so GST applies on all domestic orders. Printed tax invoices are provided for all orders within Australia unless requested otherwise. (Please note that GST does not apply to international sales).

 

I received my order but was asked to pay tax or other duties - why? 

If the delivery destination is outside of Australia, then the goods are being imported by the buyer. This means that customs and border offices may apply local taxes and/or duties to the value of the import before you can receive it, as these charges are levied by local authorities and not included in the item price or shipping cost.
