Holiday deliveries & temporary postage service changes
Australia Post recently revised the cut-off dates for deliveries before Christmas, due to recent weather conditions and rail disruptions. which will impact deliveries to / from WA in particular, as they have added an additional 2 weeks to the estimated delivery times to WA. This puts the cut-off dates for delivery before Christmas back to 6th December for WA, while it remains at the 15th December for other states. These estimates can sometimes be optimistic, so if Australia Post are allowing almost 3 weeks for standard post, I tend to advise to allow 4 weeks. Express post is less affected as air transport has not been impacted the same way that road and rail transport has.
In order to hopefully assist with some of these issues, from now until the store closes for the holidays (20th - 28th Dec) all small packages will be sent via priority post, as this service can help with faster delivery times. There will be no additional charge for this upgrade as faster delivery is not guaranteed via priority. Unfortunately I'm unable to similarly offer free ugrades to express parcel post, but the price for express has been reduced from $11.30 to $10 to assist those wanting to upgrade, and will remain at the lower rate until the 20th December. I highly recommend express is selected for all urgent orders.
Thank you for your patience and understaning, and happy holidays!
